Node 2: Attaching Rafters to the Ridge/Valley with Dowels

Node 3: Roof Opening (Dormer Window)
This node resolves openings by interrupting one or more rafter legs. For wide openings, such as for a dormer, the adjacent rafter legs are doubled, framed by block beams above and below the opening to ensure structural integrity and support.
